Workshops: Travel & Accommodation
Please note our workshops are held at two different venues. Information can be found below.
Venue: Wyre Forest Visitor Centre
TRAVEL
By Car: follow sat-nav directions for Wyre Forest Visitor Centre, Callow Hill, Bewdley, Worcs, DY14 9XQ
There is an onsite pay and display carpark, which is around £8 per day. The workshops will held in 'The Discovery Centre', situated behind the onsite cafe.
By public transport: The nearest train station is Kidderminster (approx 8 miles from the venue). We would advise using a taxi service from here, as buses do not run regularly. *we would not recommend travelling entirely by public transport to this venue. You will likely need a car to travel to and from your accommodation.
If travelling from overseas, the nearest airport is Birmingham International.

Bewdley (nearest town)
If you have a car and wish to stay in a town, we would advise staying in Bewdley.
(we would not recommend stating in Kidderminster or Stourport)
The name Bewdley means 'beautiful place' - it is a small Georgian town (with some much older buildings dating to medieval and tutor times) set on the river Severn approximately 2 miles from the venue, which has a Sainsburys local, Tesco express, pubs and a few restaurants. It has a quaint little museum and a very pretty publicly owned park/garden (Jubilee garden).
Even if you're not staying in Bewdley, it is worth a visit.
Tanners Lodge - self catering, on outskirts of Bewdley.
Other Suggestions:
Deer View Retreat - a quiet annexe suite out of town, self catering (suggested by a previous course participant)
Wharton Park Golf Club Hotel - quiet and clean rooms. Within walking distance, however please note that the walk is along a pavement which is next to a busy main road. They offer breakfast all year round, and evening meals (not all year round). (recommended by a previous course participant)

Venue: Arch 27, Worcester City Centre
TRAVEL
By Car: follow sat-nav directions for The Cattlemarket carpark, WR1 3NZ. The Cattlemarket car park is within metres of Arch 27, alternatively the next closest car park is over on Croft road. Parking fees apply (approx £7 per day)
By public transport: Worcester Foregate street is the nearest train station (5 min walk) and the bus station is also very close by.
If travelling from overseas, the nearest airport is Birmingham International.
