Workshops: Travel & Accommodation
Please note our workshops are held at two different venues. Information can be found below.
Venue: Wyre Forest Visitor Centre
TRAVEL
By Car: follow sat-nav directions for Wyre Forest Visitor Centre, Callow Hill, Bewdley, Worcs, DY14 9XQ
There is an onsite pay and display carpark, which is around £8 per day.
By public transport: the nearest train station is Kidderminster (approx 8 miles from the venue). We would advice using a taxi service from here, as buses do not run regularly.
If travelling from overseas, the nearest airport is Birmingham International.
ACCOMMODATION
Royal Forester Inn - the nearest accommodation to the venue (0.5mile away) and within easy walking distance. Ideal if you have come via public transport/without a car. The rooms are above a busy and lively pub, offering food and regular evening events. Please follow the link to check the details. (please be aware that events happen in the evenings on most nights).
Wharton Park Golf Club Hotel - quiet and clean rooms, and also within walking distance, however please note that the walk is along a pavement which is next to a busy main road.
If you have a car and are looking for a more remote location, search on airbnb for cabins in and around the woods, such as the below (recommended by previous course participants) :
Deer View Retreat - a quiet annexe suite, self catering.
We would also recommend staying in (or visiting) Bewdley; a pretty Georgian town set on the river Severn approximately 2 miles from the venue, which has a Sainsburys local, Tesco express, pubs and a few restaurants. Accommodation here can be found by searching on websites such as airbnb etc. Please note, that the town can be quite lively on Friday night and at the weekend.

Venue: Arch 27, Worcester City Centre
TRAVEL
By Car: follow sat-nav directions for The Cattlemarket carpark, WR1 3NZ. The Cattlemarket car park is within metres of Arch 27, alternatively the next closest car park is over on Croft road. Parking fees apply (approx £7 per day)
By public transport: Worcester Foregate street is the nearest train station (5 min walk) and the bus station is also very close by.
If travelling from overseas, the nearest airport is Birmingham International.
